File check

Image quality, resolution & aspect ratio tool

Ensuring a high quality poster or photo enlargement all starts with submitting a high quality source image. Photos are made up of tiny pixels per inch, and the more pixels your source image has, the more we can enlarge it with high quality.

Our file quality check tool will check your source file’s resolution to see if it has enough resolution to print as a poster and even give you recommended print sizes based on its resolution.

Aspect ratio of an image describes the proportional relationship between its width and its height.

After you upload your file, you can use the aspect tool below to calculate what your image sizes proportionally to in either direction.  You can even enter the size you need it in one dimension and it will calculate what it sizes to proportionally in the other dimension.  This information can be helpful in determining the size print you need to order to avoid cropping.
