This is an adhesive version of our popular opaque matte backlit film (Duratrans) with an adhesive and liner for applying to glass, plexi-glass or similar surfaces.
We use the highest quality backlit film in the industry. Our adhesive backlit is the Flexcon LiteCal 5200 white translucent vinyl film. LiteCal film is the answer for self-adhesive, illuminated signage with great image quality. It’s a premium calendared film with a removable pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that features superior stability, long-term durability and excellent shrink resistance, even with heavy ink loads. The adhesive removes easily with little or no adhesive residue.
The LiteCal 5200 is a 6-mil premium translucent vinyl with uniform light diffusion properties. It can be used to produce backlit displays for taxi tops, bus displays, menu boards, retail signage, and other applications. LiteCal bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including acrylic and polycarbonate, yet removes cleanly for up to one year.
Combining our 10 color PrecisionDot ink process with only the highest quality film results in prints that last 20 times longer than others and that remain bright and vivid by withstanding UV sunlight for years.
