Our clear transparency film is a 6 mil clear gloss polyester film with an anti-static back.

It features high color brilliance and high image definition.  This film is an excellent choice for silk screen separations or other clear film applications where high-stability or heat resistance is required and a clear or see-through application is needed.

Clear transparency film is one of our most popular media choices for screen printers and hobbyists, and is used in a wide variety of applications, but, it’s important to keep in mind the following:

• Many customers like to try clear transparency film for a variety of ‘special projects’ or have visions of it working in windows or other creative ways.  Because everything is transparent, including the image printed on it, it can be difficult to achieve some of those effects.  For this reason, we highly recommend you order a smaller test print of this media to see if it works as expected before placing a larger order.  We are not able to give advice on special projects other than recommending you test the media first.
• Clear transparency film is completely see-through, including the image you print on it, unless you request a special white layer be laid down underneath the image with our new white ink.  To take advantage of our white ink process, please contact us directly for a quote, as there is an additional charge for white ink being printed under your image.
